Earning and Storing XP

Earning and Storing XP guide screenshot

Experience comes from ordinary play—combat, mining, crops, smelting, and exploration—but the pack also rewards planning around food variety and safe liquid storage.

Everyday XP

Kill mobs, mine ores, harvest crops, smelt items, and complete systems that award experience. Because XP is not lost on death, it acts as a persistent progression resource rather than a fragile score.

XP Furnace

The XP Furnace converts selected mob drops into experience. Its interface shows a daily limit in the upper-right corner.

Each furnace tracks its own limit. Building multiple XP Furnaces increases total daily throughput, so a late-game mob farm can feed a bank of furnaces instead of one overloaded machine.

Hunger XP Bonus

A global Hunger XP Bonus perk applies from day one. Every new food you eat grants a small XP boost. Sample unfamiliar meals as you explore and track foods already eaten.

Storing XP

  • Store liquid XP in an OpenBlocks Tank for visible bulk storage and piping.
  • Carry or fill an XP Medallion for compact personal storage.
  • Keep a reserve for Health Shards, Anvil recipes, and other XP-consuming progression.
Build an XP room

Place XP Furnaces, tanks, the Medallion station, and Anvil ingredients together. A single workflow makes it much easier to see whether XP is being earned, stored, or spent.
