Incubator (Technical)

Incubator (Technical) guide screenshot

The Incubator converts an Egg into a creature or Spaceworm by combining the egg's base Stability with optional liquid and petal bonuses.

Input slots

The machine needs an Egg and may accept a fluid and petal matching the tooltip. Before starting, confirm that the machine shows the expected Stability calculation.

Stability calculation

Final chance = base Stability + liquid bonus + petal bonus

Each correct match adds 15 percentage points, and the result cannot exceed 100%.

Safe operating procedure

  1. Drain any leftover fluid that does not match the next egg.
  2. Insert the favored liquid in the required amount.
  3. Add the favored petal.
  4. Insert the Egg last.
  5. Confirm the final percentage before committing.
  6. Let the machine finish without breaking or moving it.
  7. Collect the hatchling immediately and move it to the correct enclosure or Wormsoil.

Failure handling

A failed conversion returns a Rotten Egg rather than the intended baby. Record the attempted setup anyway: a failure does not mean the clues were wrong; it may simply be the unsuccessful side of the displayed probability.

Testing unknown combinations

Use common eggs first. Change one input at a time, note whether the UI adds 15%, and publish confirmed matches for other players. This avoids wasting rare fluids while building a reliable discovery chart.
