Hybrid Residue

Hybrid Residue contains both types of a dual-type Pokémon and is used by quests that require an exact type pairing.

Obtaining Hybrid Residue

• Defeating a wild dual-type Pokémon may drop Residue containing both of its types.
• Hover over the item to see the stored pair.
• Type order is normalized, so match the two listed types rather than relying on their order or color.

Completing Residue Quests

• A quest only accepts the exact pair shown in its task.
• Residue sharing just one of the requested types will not count.
• Retrieval quests may consume the item, so keep extras of rare combinations.

Finding the Right Pair

• Look for a common wild species with the required two types.
• Defeat that species until enough matching Residue drops.
• Check each tooltip before submitting it to avoid mixing similar-looking pairs.
