Pixelmon: TMs

Pixelmon: TMs guide screenshot

Technical Machines teach a move to a compatible Pokémon. In this pack they are also quest items, Battle Point purchases, and inputs for the Crayfish Printer, so a TM may be more valuable unopened than immediately consumed.

Finding and choosing TMs

TMs can appear in Pixelmon loot, quests, and generation-specific choice crates. Read the move, generation, and compatibility before selecting a crate reward. Store rare TMs away from retrieval quests that accept any TM, because those tasks may consume every matching item in your inventory.

Teaching a move

  1. Place the intended Pokémon in your party.
  2. Use the TM and select a compatible target.
  3. Review the move-learning screen carefully.
  4. Replace a move only after checking power, accuracy, category, type coverage, and any setup your team relies on.

Imprinting

The pack's printer progression can use a TM as a template or imprint source. Put the requested Pixelmon TM into the Crayfish Printer interface, supply the remaining JEI ingredients, and confirm which item is consumed before starting. Imprinting rules are pack-specific, so JEI and the machine tooltip override generic Pixelmon instructions.

Make a library

Sort TMs by generation or move type, then keep a separate chest labeled Quest-safe copies. That turns random loot into a long-term move library.
